I’m a genius
Yeah, that's right. I am. I was lying in bed a few minutes ago, trying to sleep (desperately, since I have to be up at 6am to go on another tour), my mind racing trying to figure out what in the hell happened to my professional series lens. How in the world did that one end up with water in it, and not my other cheaper one.

Vacation Entry 13 - Safari Adventure in Puerto Plata
To be honest, I'm not such a big fan of pre-arranged adventures at resorts. I've been on a few, and most of them are pretty basic and you kind of feel like it wasn't money well spent. However, I heard a lot of good things about the safari adventure, so I decided to check it out for the low price of $60 USD.

Matt Good, Las Vegas Interview

Vacation Entry 10 - Who’s a sweaty pig?
Oh man, I am a very sweaty pig. The clouds have gone away, and I've been sweating pretty much non stop. I'm about to jump in the pool and relax, but as I swung by the open wireless here I thought I'd do a quick update.
I made my way to the Plaza here in Playa Dorada, which is a unique collection of outdoor shops. I purchased some Cuban cigars (not sure why, but when in rome...), and just booked two excursions for the next two days.

Vacation Entry 9 - Cloudy Day
Thankfully the clouds are overhead today, because yesterday was absolutely insanely hot. So hot in fact, that most people didn't even hang out by the pool bar.
I'm pretty much all pooled out I think, so I'm going to find something else to do today. I'll probably walk down to the Plaza and book an excursion or two. They have an all-day catamaran trip to a remote island (with an open bar I might add) that sounds fairly appealing, as well as a safari trip to a waterfall you can swim in. ... read more
Vacation Entry 8 - Another day in paradise
This will be a short entry, but I just wanted to say how great this place is. The people I've met have been super friendly, and the weather is pretty amazing. I took a pile of photos yesterday from around the pool.
