Here I am, stuck in an airport again. For a guy that doesn’t really like flying, I sure do fly a lot. It’s a completely miserable day here in Vancouver full of rain, wind, and dark, cloudy skies. I watched a plane take off about 20 minutes ago, and you can see if visibly swaying on ascent due to the winds, so it’s probably going to be a bit of a rocky ride for the first few minutes. Thankfully my flight to Kelowna is really short, so I won’t have to battle the weather for long.

I’m sitting in Milestone’s here trying to get breakfast before I get on the plane, but it’s pretty busy and all the staff apparently woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Not many happy campers around here at this hour.

Dale SMSed me last night and said they will probably be in town a bit earlier, so that means I won’t have to kill as much time on the Kelowna side. I haven’t really figured out where I’m going to sleep yet, so I’ll probably spend breakfast surfing web sites to find a cheap hotel in the area.

I have a morning flight back to Vancouver, getting in around noon. After that I’ll just head into work and do a normal day. So much for the long weekend — it sure went fast.
