Wow, yesterday was a pretty full day. First, let me say that I probably shouldn’t have flown yesterday. I was totally conscious of the fact that there was a crazy storm going on, but for some reason that didn’t translate in my head into a scary flight. And let me tell you, it was pretty scary.

There was a point in the ride when the stewardesses were thrown sideways into whatever chairs were there, and both my iPod and my glasses fell to the ground. I was clutching the seat pretty hard, and was pretty amazed at how hard the plane was being thrown around.

I spent most of the day yesterday just chilling out on Matt’s bus with everyone. I got to watch a full sound check, which was a pretty cool experience, seeing how they go from no equipment set up to a full on concert sound. Dale and I watched the concert from stage right again, and while the whole concert was awesome, my favourite song is shaping up to be A Silent Army in the Trees (probably because it’s so new) — both Dale and I are huge fans of it, and can’t wait for it to be released.

Afterwards, we headed back to the bus and sat around drinking beers until 2am. I had to leave and head back to my hotel for the journey home, but it was a really great trip. Matt’s got one show left tonight, and then the tour is officially over. It’s been a long road for all those guys, and you can see the exhaustion in all their eyes. I’m sure they’ll be happy to be back at home.

I’ll be heading into work shortly after I land and doing a full day. I gotta jet and see if I can grab some breakfast quick here. Being the complete idiot I am, I once again forgot to bring a memory card for my camera, so I got 0 photos yesterday. I rule.
