Looks like the first shots of KITT are out from the upcoming TV series based on the old show Knight Rider.
As you can see, it’s a Ford Shelby GT. Personally, I think it looks rather stupid, but that’s just me.
Maybe I’m just a bit nastalgic, and miss the old version of KITT.

Um…what are you guys on? The original KITT was a trans am…which means that A: It WAS American made, and B: It WASN’T a racer…
Yah I know.. It was a Pontiac, but that was back in the day when US cars were sort of cool.
The point is that KITT was sort of sleek and sexy looking, not tough. They really should try to find a car that meets that criteria nowadays.
Yeah I agree…a mustang…basically a souped up economy car generally driven by 23 year old boys… I had seen one prototype image that was pretty cool…looked like a modified car based on a corvette frame…personally I think KITT should be like a gull wing mercedes or something equally hot…
