1600 Reasons To Love Northern Voice

Northern Voice 2008 Mosaic

Last night while lying in bed I had the crazy idea to try and make a mosaic out of all the photos from Northern Voice. Tonight, while sitting in front of the TV, I decided to make an attempt at it. So, here is the end result.

It’s 40 tiles wide by 40 tiles tall, for a total of 1600 individual images. If you want to see it large, click on the image to download a huge version (approximate 9MB).

Brilliant! I’m totally feeling it. I don’t think there could be a better poster than one of the people of Northern Voice. This IS Northern Voice! Wonderful.

    Very very impressive!

If you’re going to produce this in some sort of higher-res poster form, you have to send me one!

Wow, that is fantastic! Can you do a poster on CafePress or something so people can buy them? If the photo owners don’t mind, of course.

    Beautiful work!

    This is great!

Would be especially wonderful if next year’s 5th Anniversary of NV had one of these from all the photos tagged nv over the years!

Thats an awesome idea. I always love seeing people come up with super creative stuff like this. But for some reason I never think of this kind of stuff until someone else does it first.

Oh well, great stuff! I wonder if I am in any of the pics that were used. ;)

Wanted to add my voice to the chorus: “Fantastic” “Awesome” and “Phenomenal”. You’ve most ably captured the spirit of the Moose with this mosaic, very well done. Also like to add my name to the list of poster customers and thanks for sharing this wonderful work of art.
