I’ve had the opportunity over the last year to attend no less than three four Matthew Good shows at various spots in North America. His last tour was a solo acoustic tour, which meant it was basically Matt up on stage with only his voice and a guitar. Those shows were obviously really amazing, with my favourite being the sold out show at Toronto’s Massey Hall. It was there that I first got to hang out with Patrick, Raymi, Phil, Dale and Sara.

Matt’s currently in Fredericton, slowly making his way back across Canada once again. This time however, it’s with a full band, something that he hasn’t done in a few years now.

One of the best parts about the Internet is that I’m able to watch, thanks to Flickr and Youtube, the progression of the current tour, all from the comfort of my couch. For those of you that are interested, here are a few teasers from Youtube.
The audio is maxed out, but check it out:
While I loved all the acoustic shows I got to attend, I think it’s going to be awesome listening to Hospital Music with a full band, as well as some of Matt’s older material.
Dale is meeting up with Matt back in Massey Hall again in a few days, and will be hanging out for a few spots. I’m be attending the Vancouver show on June 26th, and hopefully Dale will be too. Head over to MatthewGood.org to check out some of the upcoming Canadian shows.
I put up a butt-load of pics up from the Fredericton show.
I feel the same way and can’t wait to see Matt play with the band again. The clips on YouTube and Facebook, as they did on the last tours as well, have been super fun to watch along the way. The man can certainly rock, there’s no doubt about that! Looking forward to June 26th in Vancouver!
I just saw Matthew and the guys play at a 250 seat venue In Mount Forrest. I have seen him many times over the years. Three times on his last acoustic tour. I was at Massey Hall for the solo show, but missed the last one. He was pretty good tonight and think that it is great that he would stop at spot in a small town.
Cool.. I briefly debated attending that show. Glad you had fun!
