Another Article Saying Blogs Are Dead Or Dying

I found this article on Twitter which is by an author who basically thinks the era of blogging is at an end. What do you think? HT, Kris.

   Saying that blogs are dying or should disappear because of Twitter is like saying all restaurants should shut down because vending machines exist.

   Calling something “dead” is but one of several token positions during a slow news week and or writing drought.

   I suppose this officially kicks off the 2008-year-in-reflection cycle. See you in 2009.

   I don’t see where people are saying blogging is dead or dying. Why is it everyday someone asks me what is it about, how do they get into it if it’s supposedly dying?

   I don’t think it is dying.Like other large parts of the internet (i think blogging is one) it will evolve into something more but still stick to its roots 🙂 Who knows, I have no 4 or 5 blogs lol and I don’t see them getting any smaller 🙂
