Music
When I was about 16 years old, I remember going over to my friend Matt’s house and watching him play guitar. Other than a few years of choir when I was in elementary school, I had never really been exposed to much music in my life. But at that moment I realized I wanted to take up an instrument, even if it was just passively.
When I was 18 I got my first guitar, which was actually a 1995 Fender Stratocaster. I couldn’t afford an amplifier for it at the time, so strangely enough, I simply practiced on it ampless, which most people thought was a little strange. Finally years later I would get an amplifier, but considering I lived in university dorms until I was 23, couldn’t really play it all that often.
It’s always been a goal of mine to play live, either around a campfire or maybe in a pub or a coffee shop. So right now I’m working myself slowly up to that point.

- Fairly crappy no-name acoustic guitar, mainly just so I have something to take camping
