As I mentioned during Blogathon, Canadian musician Matthew Good's new album, Vancouver, is coming out sometime in October. As Matt has mentioned on his blog previously, the new single will hitting the airwaves sometime in mid August. I don't know the exact date, but Matt is mysteriously counting down to something on his Facebook page, so you may want to follow along there. I read a few articles last night on what 2008 holds in terms of new movies. Most of the list was fairly yawn-inducing for me (even though they author was clearly excited about them), but a few stood out. Since I have a few minutes to kill in the Las Vegas airport here, I thought I'd write a quick update on everything since leaving my pad back in Vancouver. Firstly, traveling on a long weekend sucks. The Vancouver airport was a complete zoo, mostly because of the forthcoming holiday, but also due to all the construction on the rapid line. Update - Matthew Good release his first single, 'Born Losers', on iTunes the other day. It's currently sitting at #11 on iTunes, and should hopefully break into the top ten sometime today.
