Here’s another shot from last night.
I actually like this one more than the other one for some reason. But I’m weird like that. The photos of mine that actually get lots of comments on Flickr are usually not the ones I thought were best from that set.
Composition wins over emotion in photography too much. I think you personally look for the emotion in a shot as a preference, over explicity compositional qualities. I too do likewise.
I think I like the other one better because of the bridge – just because I know exactly the spot from which the photo was taken.
This is beautiful! Yes you’re right, it’s always interesting to see the difference in beauty and interest between your eyes and someone else’s eyes.
