So while many of us suffer from the end products of love, and some of us end up broken hearted, my friend Clay is the only guy I know who actually has, quite literally, a broken heart.

Clay is currently down at St. Paul’s hospital getting a coronary bypass operation. Not a very enjoyable way to spend Valentine’s day. I just called down and he’s still in surgery. I’ll probably swing by later tonight if he’s out of the ICU, or more than likely tomorrow. If anyone has that stupid fish game with the hoops and the water, let me know. I’m sure Clay will swing by my blog in a few days and check it out, so if anyone wants to leave some well wishes, just drop a comment for him.
Yay Clay!! I am SO RELIEVED you weren’t bumped! We’re all rooting for you today. Can’t wait to see your creatively shaven chest hair.
Hi, Clay! Hope your recovery is speedy!
Thanks for the words Duane…back at home now (yes…day three after…count em…FIVE bypassed arteries). The Nurse said she’s only seen one other time in 22 years that a patient got released on day 3, but in my case because there were none of the problems that commonly come with massively blocked arteries, I was out rather quickly. More to follow (with some family rated pics) at TheRantTrap.
D’oh, I just got back from the hospital. I tried going last night too, but I circled the block for nearly 45 minutes and couldn’t find parking. Sorry I missed you, but glad you’re at home.
