Heroes, Season Three

Last modified on October 1st, 2008

Right now I’m on my second attempt at downloading Heroes, season three, episode three. I watched the first two last week, and I have to say that I wasn’t overly impressed. There are a few plot holes going on that bother me, and I hope the shore up the writing a bit more in future episodes.

As I commented at the end of last season, Sylar is simply not a good bad guy anymore because he’s almost invincible. The only person who can really challenge him is Peter, and we’ve seen that battle a few times now.

I’m still hoping this season will recreate some of the magic of the original season (in fact, the first part of season two was pretty good as well). I’ll chime in in a few more episodes.

WARNING – SPOILERS IN COMMENTS!

I haven’t seen Dexter yet. I should probably check it out.

Season one I was in love with this show, it scared the crap out of me but I loved it. Season two just didn’t do a whole lot for me and so far this season I haven’t been able to get in to it at all. I think I need to buy Season two, re-watch it and then download the new episodes to get back into it. I will admit though, I love Sylar, good/bad doesn’t matter I enjoy looking at him. =)

  4. My gf just introduced me to the show and I absolutely fell in love with. Most did not like season 2, I rather enjoyed it. Maybe because I watched in 2 days it made more sense. Season 3 has been kinda weird but more action packed.

I agree the first season ruled!

I’m not too sure about Sylar as a partner. I mean really, would he ACTUALLY help them out for the sole purpose of finding brains to “consume”? The motivations just don’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

However, I’m still enjoying Heroes. I love Hiro and Ando, you just can’t go wrong with them. It’s still a fun show at the end of the day, I think it is just suffering through some convulsion issues like Lost did back in the day 😉

Yah, that whole line is kind of dumb. I mean, why would Sylar not just kill his mom to get out of that prison? Why does he need her in his life? And seriously, without the Haitian stopping people’s powers, how tough really is a guy with a gun against super heroes?

  7. Allie says:

HAHAHAHA TOTALLY! Just take out the Haitian with the gun! *smack forehead*

  8. Raul says:

I love heroes but I’m a bit taken aback 🙂
