I stuck close to home this weekend, only venturing out briefly to restock my movie pile and grab some food. Friday night, Chris and Cisco popped by to see how I was doing. Later, Tiffany, Katherine and Jenn also came by, and we all just listened to music and hung out.

It’s pretty cool that it’s snowing outside. I can’t remember the last time it snowed in Vancouver in November. I really love winter. There’s something about the peace and quiet that goes along with the early nights, the crisp cool air, and of course, the falling of snow.
Seeing it snow motivated me to finally put my Christmas lights back up (now understand, I never really took them down, but I did readjust them slightly when I saw it snowing this weekend). I need to pick up some stuff eventually to decorate my cubicle at work.

Uhh…last time it snowed in November in Vancouver was last year dude…. oh how the memory wanes as we get older 🙂
you’re going to decorate your cubicle? tee hee. aren’t we a ball of festivity. 😉
ps – not a fan of the snow. it turns *most* people into simpletons. violent simpletons… grrrr.
You say that again Tiffany, and I’m gonna smash you (jk).
I remember when I was 17, I was riding in a truck with Brennen and this guy named Chris. It was in Chilliwack, and it was really snowing hard. We drove past these two guys stuck in a ditch, and of course, being 17, we kept going, laughing our asses off at how people really couldn’t drive in the snow. As we turned the next corner, Brennen got his truck stuck into the snowbank there. Wouldn’t you know it — after the guy got free (who we were laughing at), he pulled up and helped us get free too.
Humbling experience, but we all learned a good lesson that day.
try taking public transit on a day like today. it was a NIGHTMARE! i had to wait an hour (literally!!) to get on the train and there were people pushing and shoving and screaming… one girl even LOST HER SHOES!!! i kid you not… it made for a nice foul modd to start my day. 😉
and by modd… i mean mood. ha!
