Any suggestions? Lately I’ve been listening to The Shins, Arcade Fire and Death Cab For Cutie. Drop me some music suggestions! Thanks.

Lots of the above are great! I’ll add Vampire Weekend, Great Lake Swimmers, Dan Mangan, The Stills, The Dears, The Hold Steady, Panic! at the Disco, Modest Mouse.

If you use iTunes, become a fan of iTunes Canada on Facebook, and they release free compilation downloads every now and again – I’ve found some indie-rock-ish gems that way.

I discovered some new songs from watching Vampire Diaries. I am now listening to Brit bands White Lies and The Editors, as well as Sofi Bond and The Gossip–good female vocalists.

Almost all the new music/bands I’ve come across over the last couple years has been due to my satellite radio…something like that or a service like Boris suggested might be a good way to freshen up the catalog.

I just purchased both available albums from Jon Black today and I am more than happy with them:
