Stupid Canada Post

Last modified on December 10th, 2007

Mailed another package. It was supposed to be there in two days. Of course, it’s the end of day two and it’s not there. Surprise, surprise.

Stupid thing isn’t even supposed to be in Missassauga, it should be in Toronto.

I hate you Canada Post. Hate you bad. Next time I’m using FedEx or UPS.

You can get your money back from Canada Post in this case. Just call them up and give them the tracking number. They’ll mail you a cheque for the amount of shipping cost in a few days. I’ve done it myself.

Yes D, definitely get your money back!

Pearson Airport is technically in Missassauga, and I’d suspect that the plant is purposely close to the airport. It’s the same here, once the downtown post office is closed, you’ll see Richmond as the location of the Vancouver sorting plant.

Had a Fedex package delivered to me last month. Took them 3 tries. Each time they couldn’t make it, it got a scan that evening for Annacis Island and a departure scan from there every morning, and I live in Abbotsford. I don’t think I’d want that route if I was one of their drivers.

I thought Pearson was in Brampton?

  9. Beth says:

Nope, Pearson is definitely in Mississauga.

  10. andrea says:

actually Pearson is in both Mississauga and Etobicoke, and the sorting plant is indeed near the airport. on the Mississauga side.
